What is glaucoma?
Glaucoma is an eye disease in which the nerve fibers of the optic nerve are gradually lost.
The cause is probably poor blood flow to the optic nerve. Often—but not always—there is a link to high eye pressure.
What is cataract?
Cataracts are a clouding of the lens that focuses light entering the eye onto the retina. This clouding can cause reduced vision and eventually lead to blindness if left untreated.
